Our Heritage

Essential's^SM experience emanates from our heritage in project management and patient recruitment services developed since 1994 in managing what was the largest exclusive site network covering eight major therapeutic areas in the U.S. Essential transitioned out of the site network services and transferred the knowledge and experience to our CRO. We are experts at understanding the site physiology required to succeed in clinical research. This expertise allows us to excel in patient recruitment since we know how to successfully identify and randomize patients. Essential's^SM CRO services started in 1998 when sponsors asked us to provide CRO support based upon our deep therapeutic knowledge, consistent delivery of randomized patients, and our success in building collaborative relationships between the investigative sites and sponsors. In June 2004, Essential formally launched our CRO services as a key part of our future growth. Our record setting growth since launch has confirmed our value that helps clients achieve more than just their clinical development endpoints. We help them successfully plan and execute solid clinical trials while building relationships with investigators who are critical to product success once on the market.
